Newly v2, at app.newly.app and in Newly for Mac, has no free plan. A new account starts with 0 credits. Before the agent can work, your organization needs a plan, a top-up, or credits or a gift plan from Newly. To buy, open the account footer menu and select **Billing**. Only organization owners and admins can buy. Members see "Ask an admin or owner of your organization to add credit. Only they can manage billing." ## Plans A plan adds credits every month. Pick a plan on the **Plans** tab in **Billing**. | Price per month | Credits per month | | --------------- | ----------------- | | \$25 | 100 | | \$50 | 200 | | \$100 | 400 | | \$200 | 800 | | \$400 | 1,600 | | \$800 | 3,200 | | \$1,600 | 6,400 | Every plan gives 4 credits for each \$1. Prices are in US dollars. ### Plan credits don't roll over Plan credits expire at the end of each monthly allowance. Only the credits you didn't use expire. The next month's credits then arrive. ### Annual billing Set **Billing cycle** to **Yearly** to pay for 12 months at once, for 20% less than paying monthly. * Credits still arrive monthly, and each month's credits expire like monthly plan credits. * You can't switch an annual plan back to monthly in the app. To change it, contact support. To change or cancel a plan, see [Change, cancel or manage your plan](/billing/manage-your-plan). ## Top-ups A top-up is a one-time purchase of credits. Buy one on the **Add credits** tab in **Billing**. * You can buy from $5 to $2,500 worth of credit in one purchase. * Top-up credits last 12 months from purchase. * They're used after your plan credits. * They cost a bit more per credit than plan credits. **Billing** shows the exact price before you pay. Newly may ask you to start a plan before you can buy one-time credits. In that case **Billing** shows "One-time credits can be added once you have a plan." ## Credits from Newly Sometimes Newly adds credits or a plan to your account. * **Credits from Newly** show as **From Newly** in your balance breakdown. They never expire. * **A plan granted by Newly** works like a plan. Its credits arrive monthly and expire at the end of each month. It ends on its own. To change it, contact support. * **Buying a plan** replaces a plan granted by Newly from that day. Credits the granted plan already added stay until they expire. ### Gift links If Newly sent you a gift link, open it and sign in to claim one free month of the \$25 plan (100 credits). * No card is needed, and the gift doesn't renew. * A gift works only for an account that doesn't already have a plan. * Gift links expire 30 days after they're created. ## Promotion codes If you have a promotion code, enter it at checkout when you buy a plan. A discounted plan still adds the full plan's credits. ## The order credits are spent in Newly spends your credits in this order: 1. Plan credits 2. Top-up credits 3. Credits from Newly Within each kind, the credits that expire soonest are used first.
